According to a daily update, from the ministry of health in Rwanda ( Minisante), on October 3, Rwanda recored five patients recoved from Marburg Virus Disease (MVD), one new case and no deaths.
It is the first time for Rwanda to get a patient who recovers from Marburg, since its outbreak in the country on September 26, 2024.
The Rwanda’s Ministry of Health announced that, so far, 1009 people were tested, 37 found positive, 11 died and 21 are still in isolation and on treatment
